Summary: Stack Dollars collects only the data necessary to run the game and provide social features. We never sell your personal data. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.
1. Who We Are
Stack Dollars is operated by Dreamers Only LLC, an Illinois limited liability company doing business as Stack Dollars ("we," "us," "our"), located at 1655 S Blue Island Ave #541, Chicago, IL 60608. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use the Stack Dollars mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App").
Account information: Username, optional display name, optional email address (only if you sign in with Apple or Google and choose to share it). Stack Dollars uses Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or anonymous Guest accounts only — we do not collect or store passwords.
Game data: Scores, challenges completed, time survived, difficulty settings, badges earned, and in-game currency balances.
Social data: Friend connections you choose to make within the App.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
Usage data: Game sessions, feature interactions, app performance metrics.
Device identifiers: Push notification tokens (only when you explicitly grant permission).
Session data: Login timestamps, session duration, last active date.
Cookie & local storage: We use cookies and local storage on our website and web version of the App strictly for session management and remembering your preferences (such as GDPR consent). We do not set behavioral advertising cookies on the website. Note that this is separate from the mobile-app advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID) that the AdMob SDK may collect on iOS/Android — see the AdMob bullet below.
2.3 Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your real name, phone number, precise geographic location, or contact list. Email addresses are collected only when you actively choose to share them via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In (see §2.1) — we never ask for an email separately.
We do not access your camera, microphone, photos, or files.
We do not collect payment card data — all purchases are handled exclusively by Apple App Store or Google Play.
2.4 Third-Party Advertising (AdMob)
We use the Google AdMob advertising SDK to serve interstitial and rewarded ads inside the App. AdMob may collect a limited set of device identifiers (the IDFA on iOS or the GAID on Android, only when you grant tracking permission) and ad-interaction events for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and aggregated measurement. We do not use tracking pixels or behavioral profiling tools outside of what AdMob requires for ad serving. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Personalization & consent: On iOS we present Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt; on Android we present an equivalent consent prompt where required. If you decline, AdMob serves non-personalized (contextual) ads only. If you grant consent, AdMob may serve personalized ads.
Children: Personalized advertising is never enabled for users we have reason to believe are under 13 — see §6 below.
3. How We Use Your Information
To operate the game, maintain your account, and deliver core gameplay features
To display leaderboards, badges, and social features
To send push notifications you have opted into (daily challenges, milestones, level-ups)
To detect cheating, abuse, and maintain fair play
To improve the game through aggregate, anonymized analytics
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, our legal bases for processing personal data are:
Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): Processing your account data to deliver the services you signed up for.
Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): Fraud detection, security, abuse prevention, and improving game quality — balanced against your rights and freedoms.
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): Push notifications and optional analytics — you may withdraw consent at any time in Settings or by contacting us.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers: Cloud hosting and database infrastructure — under strict data processing agreements that limit use of your data to providing services on our behalf.
App Store platforms: Apple and Google process in-app purchases under their own privacy policies.
Legal requirements: If required by applicable law, valid court order, subpoena, or governmental authority.
Business transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — with reasonable notice to you and protections for your data.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Stack Dollars is rated 4+ and is designed for all ages. We take children's privacy seriously:
The game can be played without creating an account. Account creation and social features require users to be at least 13 years old.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
We do not knowingly serve personalized or behavioral advertising to children under 13. The AdMob SDK is configured with the tagForChildDirectedTreatment / tagForUnderAgeOfConsent flags so that any session we have reason to believe involves a minor receives non-personalized contextual ads only. (See §2.4 for how personalized vs. non-personalized ad selection works for adult users.)
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us at help@stackdollars.com and we will delete it within 48 hours.
7. Your Rights
GDPR Rights (EEA/UK/Switzerland)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:
Access (Art. 15): Request a copy of your data — available via Settings → Export My Data, or by emailing us.

Data Portability (Art. 20): Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable JSON format.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), California residents have the right to:
Know: What personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell (we do not sell data).
Delete: Request deletion of your personal information.
Opt-out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell or share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Non-discrimination: Exercise your rights without receiving discriminatory treatment.
Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
To submit a verifiable consumer request, email help@stackdollars.com. We will verify your identity before fulfilling the request.
8. Data Retention
Active accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
Deleted accounts: When you delete your account, we permanently delete all associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Inactive accounts: Accounts inactive for more than 24 months may be flagged for deletion with prior notice.
Anonymized data: Aggregate, anonymized analytics data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely to improve the App.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
Federated identity providers (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In) — Stack Dollars never sees, stores, or transmits your provider password
Server-side session tokens with automatic expiration
Rate limiting and brute-force protection on authentication endpoints
Regular security reviews of our infrastructure
No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to help@stackdollars.com.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data is stored and processed in the United States. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, your data is transferred subject to appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
11. Push Notifications
Push notifications are entirely optional and require your explicit permission. You can manage notification preferences at any time:
In the App: Settings → Notifications
On your device: System Settings → Notifications → Stack Dollars
Notification categories (daily challenges, milestones, level-ups) can be toggled independently.
12. Do Not Track
Stack Dollars does not track users across third-party websites or services. We honor Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals by default, as we do not engage in cross-site tracking.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
Update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page
Provide notice through the App (in-app banner or push notification)
Where required by law, seek your renewed consent
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
